    :

This is another staple cereal in my cupboard. I eat this nearly everyday, whether it be breakfast or lunch. It takes a while to soak up in the almond milk as the dates and cranberries are dried, but when it has soaked in for long enough, it is absolutely delicious! It’s got a great balance of sweetness with the wholegrain flakes and has great textures with the fruit. It’s really nice with a ripe banana which adds extra depth and flavour. A highly recommend this cereal to anyone who is gluten free and vegan, or just anyone in general!

Love this cereal. It’s generally the only cereal I eat. Miss the dates though – now that they have been swapped for sultanas. – See more at: http://www.freedomfoods.com.au/catalogue/products/berry-good-morning#sthash.EcWRvdDi.dpuf

Don’t understand why they’ve changed the dates to sultanas? Why? They’ve just release their ‘Sultana Flakes’. Why do they need another cereal featuring sultanas? Was a 5 on the rating scale, now a 1. Very disappointing.

Hi Marj and Lulsa, Thank you for your comments. We have recently changed our recipe and replaced dates with sultanas. Unfortunately our supplier was unable to guarantee consistent quality which is absolutely our highest priority at Freedom hence we’ve made the change. Our sultanas are sourced right here in Australia and are of high quality and taste fantastic, we hope you start to enjoy the change in recipe as much as we do. The Freedom Foods team.

Loved this cereal with the dates and cranberries. Disappointed with the replacement of dates with sultanas.

    :

I used to eat this cereal for breakfast and really liked it. I would have given it 5 stars. However now that Freedom has added sultanas I will not be buying it anymore. I hate sultanas. Why do manufacturers think everyone loves sultanas.

  7. 2 out of 5

    :

Disappointed that they use sultanas instead of dates now. The dates made it a one of a kind. Was my favourite cereal, but now it’s just like any other cereal.

  8. 1 out of 5

    :

Agreed the dates need to come back. I’ll take average quality dates over top quality sultanas, every time.

  9. 4 out of 5

    :

This is the best cereal I have found, I wish my local Coles kept decent stock levels. It really needs to be available in a larger volume as a single box doesn’t last me a week.
